I provide psychotherapy to clients struggling with issues primarily related to trauma and PTSD, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, body image issues, eating disorders, domestic violence & abuse, suicidal thoughts & ideations, grief, LGBTQIA+ issues, social anxiety, and addiction. 

Anxiety
  • Experience with all anxiety disorders 

  • Examination of the causes of the anxiety

  • Goal is to reframe anxiety, create acceptance, and encourage healing and positive change

Self-Esteem
  • Identification of the root of internal critical voice

Eating Disorders
  • Experience with eating disorders (anorexia and bulimia nervosa, restrictive eating disorder, and binge eating disorder)

Suicidal Thoughts & Ideations

Grief
  • Normalizing individual processing of grief

LGBTQIA+ Issues
  • Prioritizing and fostering a non-judgmental, anti-oppressive, and welcoming therapeutic environment 

  • Use of culturally sensitive, anti-oppressive, and socially just techniques and approaches

Trauma & PTSD
  • Focus on the internal response to traumatic events 

  • Focus on creating a non-judgemental, supportive, and accepting therapeutic environment 

  • Process trauma in a safe way 

  • Learn tools and techniques to cope with trauma when it is triggered

Depression
  • Exploration of depression and depressive symptoms

Domestic Violence & Abuse

Addiction
  • Experience with several forms of addiction (drug, alcohol, sex, gambling, and spending)

  • Build understanding of what is sustaining addiction and underlying causes driving it

Social Anxiety
  • Learn tools and techniques to interact with others in a healthy and non-threatening way 

  • Focus on increasing confidence and self-empowerment
